I have Windows 7 running on a Mac Pro 2009, on a separate internal disk. The other day Windows started going into blue screen on boot, and on safe boot. Both repair and restore points would not work, even from the install disk. I resigned myself to a fresh install on the original partition. When I was done I realized I had reinstalled without using Bootcamp, so there are no Bootcamp utilities or drivers available on this new install. My question is, do I need Bootcamp, and if I do how do I get it and install it? I will point out that the new Windows 7 install works great, and is much faster to boot than the 4 year old install. Also the Bootcamp utility under Win 7 never worked. That is when I set it to automatically restart into Windows, it would ignore the setting and restart into Mac OS. Make sure you match your system to the System Requirements for the specific bundle you download. On a non-Bootcamp Windows installation on MP, if you used the EFI installer, some hardware like Graphics and Audio will create problems. Does the BC Driver installer give you any errors?
